Recipe - New England Pumpkin Pie

1 cn Pumpkin equal to 2 cups
1 One half tablespoon Butter (melted)
1 tablespoon Cornstarch
1 One half cup Milk or 12oz evaporated
Milk
One half teaspoon Cinnamon
1 cup Sugar
One half teaspoon Ginger
1/8 cup Molasses
One half teaspoon Nutmeg
2 Eggs (beaten)
One half teaspoon Salt (scant)
Sift Sugar, Cornstarch, Salt, Cinnamon, Ginger and Nutmeg togeather. Mix
this with pumpkin. Add Eggs, beaten, Melted Butter, Molasses and Milk. Add
a dash of Lemon juice (if desired). Line a 9 inch pie pan. Pour in
contents. Preheat oven and bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes. Then reduce
heat to 350 degrees and bake for anothe 50 minutes.
