5 cup Sugar
12 ounce Evaporated Milk; 1 can
One fourth pound Butter Or Regular Margarine
12 ounce Marshmallow Creme Or Fluff;*
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 cup Whole Walnut Meats
24 ounce SemiSweet Chocolate Chips
* The original recipe calls for Marshmallow Fluff, but you may only be
able to find the Creme in your area. It should work.

Combine the first five ingredients in a 4quart saucepan. Stir over low
heat until blended. Bring to a boil over moderate heat, being careful not
to mistake escaping air bubbles for boiling. The BOIL SLOWLY, stirring
constantly, for 5 MINUTES. To the soft ball stage. Remove from the heat and
stir in the chocolate chips and vanilla and nuts if used. Stir until the
chips are melted. Pour into 2 buttered 9 X 9inch pans and let cool. From
