Recipe - Nestle Toll House Cookies

4 One half cup Flour
2 teaspoon Baking soda
2 teaspoon Salt
1 cup Butter
1 cup Shortening
1 One half cup Sugar
1 One half cup Brown sugar; firmly packed
2 teaspoon Vanilla
4 Whole eggs
4 cup Semisweet chocolate chips
2 cup Chopped nuts

Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in bowl, set aside. Cream together
butter and shortening;add sugars,and vanilla;beat well. Add eggs one at a
time, beating well after each addition. gradually beat in flour mixture,
stir in chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoonful on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake 911 minutes at 375*

NOTES : Everyone loves these cookies. Nestle used to have both the butter
and shortening in their recipe, and I keep using both because it comes out
better.
