Recipe - My Mothers Sour Cream Sugared Nuts

One half cup Sour cream
1 One half cup Sugar
1 One half teaspoon Vanilla
4 cup Pecan or walnut halves
Mix sour cream and sugar in a mediumsized saucepan. Heat to 223ø on candy
thermometer. Stir constantly. Add vanilla and nuts. Stir until nuts are
well coated. Pour onto an ungreased cookie sheet and spread out. When cool,
break nuts apart. Yield: 4 cups.
