Recipe - Mulled Cider Syrup

2 cup Apple cider
One fourth cup Granulated sugar
One fourth cup Light brown sugar, firmly
packed
One half cup Apply jelly
One half teaspoon Ground cinnamon
One fourth teaspoon Ground cloves
One fourth teaspoon Ground nutmeg
1. In a 1quart saucepan, combine the cider and sugars. Cook, without
stirring, over medium heat until the sugars dissolve.
2. Stir in the jelly, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. Heat to boiling. Reduce
heat to low and simmer, stirring, until the jelly melts. Serve warm.
Makes 2 One half cups.
