Recipe - Mr Foods Butterscotch Pudding

One half cup Packed brown dark brown
sugar
One half cup Butter; (1 stick)
One fourth teaspoon Salt
One fourth cup Cornstarch
2 One half cup Milk
2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
In a medium saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter and salt over Medium
heat. Cook 34 minutes or until butter melts and sugar begins to
caramelize, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. In a medium bowl, whisk
cornstarch and milk then whisk into the brown sugar mixture. Cook over
Medium heat 56 minutes, or until mixture has thickened, whisking
constantly. Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla. Pour into a serving bowl
or individual serving dishes and chill 2 to 3 hours or until set. Note I
llike to serve this topped with some chopped chocolatecovered toffee bars.
