Recipe - Mothers Ritz Cracker Pie

20 Ritz crackers; crushed
1 cup Sugar
Three fourths cup Chopped pecans
3 Egg whites
One fourth teaspoon Cream of tartar
1 teaspoon Vanilla
One half pt Cream; whipped and sweetened
to taste
Mix pecans, One half cup sugar and cracker crumbs in bowl. Beat egg whites and
cream of tartar until stiff; gradually add vanilla and One half cup sugar. Fold
crumb mixture into egg white mixture; pour into greased pie plate and bake
at 350 for 20 minutes. Cool thoroughly; top with whipped cream. Chill well
before serving.
