Recipe - Mothers Divinity Icing

2 cup Sugar
2/3 cup Water
3 tablespoon Corn syrup
1 tablespoon Vinegar
2 Egg whites
One fourth teaspoon Cream of tartar
1 pn Salt
6 lg Marshmallows
Combine sugar, water, syrup and vinegar. Cook to softball stage. Beat egg
whites until stiff. Beat in cream of tartar and salt. Add One half of hot
mixture. To other half, add marshmallows to dissolve. Combine mixtures and
beat until spreading consistency.
