Recipe - Mother-In-Laws Sauerkraut

4 sl Bacon minced
1 cn Sauerkraut 1lb. 11oz.
1 Head cabbage chopped
1 lg Onion minced
1 tablespoon Butter
1 teaspoon Sugar
One half teaspoon Salt
1/8 teaspoon Pepper
In small skillet, cook bacon, saving drippings. In slowcooking pot,
combine sauerkraut, cabbage, onion, butter, sugar, salt, and pepper. Pour
cooked bacon and drippings over all. Cover and cook on low for 3 to 5
hours.
