Recipe - Moo Shu Beef

Ingredients:

1 pound Beef round tip steaks, 1/8
1/4" thick
3 cup Packaged cole slaw mix
2/3 cup Sliced green onions
1 tablespoon Corn starch, dissolved in
One fourth cup water
8 md Flour tortillas, warmed
1/3 cup Hoison sauce

MARINADE
2 tablespoon Reduced sodium soy sauce
2 Tsbpsns water
1 tablespoon Dark sesame oil
2 Cloves garlic, crushed
2 teaspoon Sugar

(from National Cattleman's Beef Assoc.)

1. Cut steaks lengthwise in half, and then crosswise into thin strips. In
medium bowl, combine marinade ingredients; add beef, tossing to coat. Cover
& marinate in refrigerator for 20 mins.

2. Remove beef from marinade; discard marinade. Heat large nonstick
skillet over mediumhigh heat until hot. Add beef, (1/2at a time), and
stirfry 12 mins., or until outside surface is no longer pink. (DO NOT
OVERCOOK). Add cole slaw mix, green onions & cornstarch mix. Cook & stir
until sauce is thickened and bubbly.

3. To assemble, spread 1 side of tortilla with hoison sauce. Sppon One half cup of
beef mix in center of each tortilla. Fol bottom edge over filling. Fold
sides to ceter, overlapping edges. Serves 4.
