Recipe - Monkey Gland Steak

Categories: None, Monkey Gland Steak
Ingredients:

Cube steaks (1 per serving)
Oil for frying
1 lg Onion, minced
2 lg Tomatoes, minced (canned
tomatoes work just as well)
1 cup Ketchup
One half cup Worcestershire sauce
2 Cloves of garlic, finely
chopped
Three fourths cup Chutney (up to 1)
One half cup Brown sugar
2 tablespoon Vinegar
1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
One half cup Water

Recipe for Monkey Gland Steak, a very popular South African dish. Don't
worry, it's only a name, the monkeys are safe. But it is fun to use on your
guests. As a former South African I can vouch for this recipe. My family
and friends love it!

In a heavy skillet, heat oil. Saute onions and garlic until soft. Add
remaining ingredients, mix well and simmer for a few minutes. Fry the
steaks separately. When done frying spoon the sauce over the steaks. Serve
with rice.
