Recipe - Moms Pork Chops
Categories: None, Moms Pork Chops
4 Boneless pork chops
1 tablespoon Butter
3 cup Milk
1 cup Cheese, grated
4 tablespoon Cornstarch
4 cup Potatoes, cut or sliced up as for
scalloped potatoes (up to
5)
Preboil the potatoes. Brown the pork chops. While they are browning, make
the sauce (butter, milk, cheese, cornstarch) in a saucepan. Stir until hot
and bubbly and smooth. I use a whip. Put the cut or sliced up cooked potatoes into a
greased casserole dish (I use Pam). Pour sauce over the top, then lay pork
chops on top of that. Season to your taste. I like Lawry's Seasoned Salt.
Bake at 350 deg F. I cover with tin foil for about 20 minutes until
everything is good and hot, then I take the cover off for about 10 minutes.
To be honest with you, I add more than one cup of cheese, hubby likes it
really creamy and juicy. Posted to bakeryshoppe digest V1 Number 034 by
