Recipe - Moms Ginger Snaps

Three fourths cup Crisco, vegetable
Shortening
1 cup Sugar
1 lg Egg
One fourth cup Light molasses
2 cup Allpurpose white flour
2 tablespoon Ginger ground
2 teaspoon Baking soda
1 teaspoon Cinnamon ground
One half teaspoon Salt
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Cream together the Crisco and sugar,
add egg and molasses. Sift together remaining ingredients and add to
creamed mixture. Combine well. Form the dough into balls (about the size
of walnuts) and roll in additional granulated sugar. Place balls on
ungreased cookie sheets. Bake about 810 minutes until cookies appear
flattened, crackled and lightly browned. Enjoy!
