Recipe - Mommys Meatloaf

1 One half pound Lean ground beef
1 cup Cracker crumbs (approx 22)
or bread crumbs; dry
1 One fourth cup Milk
1 lg Egg
One fourth cup Chopped onion; (1 small)
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 One half teaspoon Salt
One half teaspoon Dry mustard
One fourth teaspoon Pepper
One fourth teaspoon Ground sage
1 Clove crushed garlic;
optional
8 ounce Finely chopped mushrooms;
optional
One half cup Ketchup
Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Don't overhandle the meat, as that will
toughen it. Spread in ungreased loaf pan, 9x5x3 inches. Spread with ketchup
(or BBQ Sauce, if desired). Leave a section of it plain, as Dad doesn't
care for the ketchup topping. Cook uncovered in 350 degree oven until done,
about 1 One half hours.
Serving Ideas : Mashed Potatoes, Corn or Green Beans, Biscuits.
