Recipe - Molded Asparagus Salad

1 pack (6oz) lime flavored gelatin
One half teaspoon Salt
1 One half cup Boiling water
2 cn (15oz) cut asparagus
1 cup Mayonnaise
1 cup Milk
2 tablespoon Tarragon vinegar
1 cup Shredded cheese
3 tablespoon Grated onion
Tabasco to taste
Dissolve gelatin and salt in boiling water; chill until slightly thickened.
Drain asparagus, reserve Three fourths cup liquid. Combine asparagus liquid,
mayonnaise, milk, vinegar and gelatin; beat until smooth. Stir in cheese,
onion, hot sauce and asparagus. Pour into an eightcup mold or individual
molds and chill until firm.
