Recipe - Miriams Apple Cake

1 cup Margarine
1 One half cup Sugar
3 lg Eggs
3 cup Flour
1 One half teaspoon Baking soda
1 pn Mace; optional
One half teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
2 teaspoon Vanilla
2 tablespoon Whiskey, brandy, liqueur or
sweet wine
3 cup Apples; peeled, cored,
chopped or shredded
1 cup Walnuts; chopped, or pecans
1 cup Chocolate chips
Cream margarine and sugar till fluffy, beat in eggs. Sift dry ingredients
and add gradually. Fold in remaining ingredients. Spoon into a greased and
floured 10" tube pan or 12"x17" rectangular pan. Bake at 350 about an hour
or till done.
