Recipe - Mint Chutney 2

1 pound Tomatoes, chopped
2 cup Light brown sugar
1 One half cup Sultanas (golden raisins)
2 teaspoon Dry mustard (Coleman's)
1 pound Tart apples, chopped
3 Green peppers, chopped
One half cup Fresh peppermint, chopped
One half cup Distilled white apple
vinegar
1 teaspoon Salt
One half teaspoon Each: mace, allspice
One fourth teaspoon Ground clove
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS: Combine all ingredients in a stainless steel pot.
Bring to a boil uncovered. Then lower to a simmer and cover for for the
remaining cooking time: about 1 hour. The mixture should be thick like a
good finished jam or marmalade.
