Recipe - Mincemeat Pie

2 cup Cooked ground beef
3 cup Ground raw apples
One half cup Brown sugar
One fourth teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
One half teaspoon Cloves (optional)
2 tablespoon Whiskey
4 tablespoon Black Cherry Wine
Raisins (optional)
1 Double crust unbaked 9"
Shell
Combine beef, apples, sugar, salt & spices in saucepan. Cook over low
heat until thoroughly heated. (Add beef broth if needed to keep from
getting dry). Stir in whiskey, wine & raisins. Pour into shell. Cover
with top crust. Seal edges. Bake 350 for 45 minutes. Serve hot. **
Mincemeat may be frozen after being heated. To use, thaw & add
whiskey, wine & raisins.
