Here is another from Fannie Flagg's book. Nadia in Texas
Use hot drippings from chicken or pork chops. For each 3 tablespoon of
drippings, stir in 3 tablespoons of flour and blend well. Cook and stir
until lightly browned. Gradually add 1 One half to 2 cups hot milk. Good and
stir until thickened.
