Recipe - Melomakarona

4 cup Flour
1 teaspoon Orange flavoring
1 cup Oil
Rind of 1 orange
1 cup Soft butter
One half teaspoon Cinnamon
One half cup Powdered sugar
One half teaspoon Cloves
1 Jigger brandy
2 teaspoon Baking powder
BRING TO BOIL TO MAKE SYRUP
1 cup Honey
1 cup Sugar
One half cup Water
chopped nuts
Combine all ingredients and work with hands until easy to handle. Make into
small eggs; flatten on 1 side and bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Dip into
hot syrup for a minute. Then sprinkle with nuts and let stand 24 hours.
