Recipe - Meatloaf And Gravy

1 One half pound Ground beef (or One half pound beef;
One half pound veal, One half pound pork,
all ground)
1 lg Grated carrot
1 Onion; chopped finely
1 Rib celery; chopped finely
Three fourths cup Rolled oats
One half cup Milk powder
1 teaspoon Thyme
One half teaspoon Each salt; pepper, sage, dry
mustard
1 pn Allspice
2 cup Beef broth
2 tablespoon Flour
(from Canadian Living)
Combine meat, vegetables, rolled oats, milk powder and spices and mix well.
Add One half cup broth, mix again, place into 8x3 inch loaf pan. Bake 350F, 30
min. Pour another One half cup broth over meatloaf, bake in 350F a further 45 min.
Make gravy with the flour, 1 cup reserved broth, and the pan drippings from
the meatloaf. This is delicious moist and flavorful!
