Recipe - Meat Sauce For Spaghetti

3 tablespoon Olive oil
1 pound Ground beef
1 pound Ground pork
1 Onion; chopped
One half Green pepper; chopped
3 Cloves garlic; minced
5 cup Crushed tomatoes
One fourth cup Tomato paste
1 tablespoon Chili powder
2 teaspoon Basil leaves, ground
One half teaspoon Ground cloves
3 Bay leaves
2 cup Chicken stock
One half teaspoon Salt
One fourth teaspoon Cayenne pepper
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over mediumhigh heat. Add beef, pork,
onion, green pepper, and garlic and saute until browned, about 10 minutes.
With a slotted spoon to drain off the fat, place the sauteed ingredients in
a 4quart saucepan. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Slowly
bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 2 hours.
