1 One half pound Ground beef
2/3 cup Soft bread crumbs
1/3 cup Chopped onion
1 teaspoon Salt
1/8 teaspoon Pepper
2 Eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup Milk
Piquant sauce
1. Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, chopped onions,
salt and pepper and beaten eggs and milk in a large
bowl. Stir well. Shape meat mix ture into a 12 x 7
inch loaf. Place in a 13 x 9 x 3 baking dish. Bake at
350F for 1 hour 15 minutes.
2. Remove from oven and pour Piquant Sauce over top of
loaf. Return meat to oven and bake an additional 15
min. Transfer loaf to a serving platter.
Piquant Sauce:
Three fourths cup firmly packed brown sugar 1 One half t dry
mustard Three fourths cup catsup Three fourths t Worchestershire sauce
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Stir well.
Yield: 1 One fourth cups
