Recipe - Marys Cole Slaw

1 lg Head Maui cabbage, chopped
2 Stalks celery, chopped
2 Carrots, grated
1 small Maui onion, chopped
1 small Green pepper, chopped
(optional)
DRESSING
1 One half cup Sugar
One half cup Apple cider vinegar, OR
white vinegar
1 tablespoon Salt
Mix all together and let stand for several hours, overnight is even better.
After it has thoroughly marinated, you may freeze. It also keeps well for
several days in the refrigerator; in fact it gets better and better as it
