Recipe - Marinated Sirloin Kabobs

One fourth cup Lemonlime carbonated
beverage (like 7up; or
sprite)
One fourth cup Dry sherry
One fourth cup Soy sauce
3 tablespoon Sugar
3 tablespoon White vinegar
One half teaspoon Garlic powder
One fourth teaspoon Salt
One fourth teaspoon Pepper
2 pound Sirloin steak; cut into 1"
cubes
2 cup Cherry tomatoes
2 md Carrots; cut into
eighths
One half pound Fresh mushroom caps
2 md Size green peppers; cut
into 1" pieces
1 small Pineapple; cut into 1"

Hi everyone!! It's summer (?!) in the United States, so here's one of my
favorite grill recipes. It comes from America's Best Recipes (Southern
Living). Enjoy!
Combine first 8 ingredients in a large shallow bowl. Add beef cubes, cover
and marinate in refrigerator 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Remove beef
cubes from marinade, reserving marinade. Alternately thread beef cubes,
tomatoes, onions, mushroom caps, green pepper and pineapple onto skewers.
Grill, covered, over mediumhot coals (350 degrees to 400 degrees) 1012
minutes or to desired degree of doneness, turning and basting occasionally
with reserved marinade. Makes 45 servings.
