Recipe - Marinated Flank Steak

One half cup Soy sauce
One fourth cup Oil
2 tablespoon water
2 Cloves garlic; minced
2 teaspoon Brown sugar
1 teaspoon Ginger root; chopped
One fourth teaspoon Black pepper
3 pound Flank steak
In a small bowl, combine all ingredients except the flank steak, and mix
well. Score the flank steak on both sides. Place in a glass baking dish,
pour the marinade over the flank steak. Refrigerate for 24 hours, turning
the steak once. Barbacue or broil the meat 6 inches from the heat, about 5
minutes on each side or until it reaches the desired doneness, basting
occasionally with the marinade. To serve, slice thinly across the grain of
the meat. Makes 46 servings. This same marinade recipes can be used for
chicken, pork or fish.
