Recipe - Marinated Bean And Ham Salad

4 cup Cooked Idaho Beans
Small Red, Great Northern
or Pink Beans
(or combination)
Three fourths cup Diced green pepper
2 tablespoon Chopped parsley
2/3 cup Vegetable oil
One half cup Wine vinegar
1 One half teaspoon Sugar
Three fourths teaspoon Salt
One half teaspoon Garlic powder
Freshly ground pepper
to taste
1 One half cup Slivered ham
OPTIONAL
Tomato wedges
Green pepper rings
Toss beans with green pepper, celery, onion and parsley. Combine
oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, garlic powder and pepper. Pour over beans; toss
to combine. Cover and refrigerate several hours. Add ham at serving
time. Garnish with tomato wedges and green pepper rings, if desired.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
