Recipe - Maple Syrup Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients:

1 cup Maple syrup
1 cup Ketsup
1 cup Onion; finely chopped
One fourth cup Brown sugar; packed
One fourth cup Apple cider vinegar
One fourth cup Lemon juice
One fourth cup Water
2 tablespoon Olive oil
2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoon Garlic; minced
2 teaspoon Lemon rind; grated
1 teaspoon Salt
One fourth teaspoon Tabasco sauce

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.

Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes. Cool.

Pour mixture into container of an electric blender or processor; process
until smooth.

NOTES : Yield: 3 One half cups. Can be used as a marinate or barbecue sauce on
chicken, pork or hamburgers. Use 1 cup per average meal. Refrigerate sauce
up to 1 month.
