1 pound Maple sugar
Water
One half cup Cream
1 tablespoon Butter
1 teaspoon Vanilla
Break maple sugar into small pieces; cover with enough water to thoroughly
dissolve and boil until it waxes hard. Take off heat and beat till nearly
cold. Add cream and butter. Put on fire again and cook till the right
consistency. Beat till cool and add vanilla.
