Recipe - Maple Coconut Pecan Cake

1 Three fourths cup Flour
One fourth cup Sugar
1 One half teaspoon Baking powder
One half teaspoon Salt
One half teaspoon Baking soda
One half cup Chopped pecans
Three fourths cup Maple syrup
1/3 cup Vegetable oil
1/3 cup Milk
2 lg Eggs
MAPLE COCONUT TOPPING
Heat oven to 350. Put flour, powder, salt, soda & nuts into ungreased
89" baking pan. Stir with fork to mix. Add remaining ingredients
except topping. Stir to blend well. Bake 2530 minutes. Remove pan
from oven. Set oven to broil. Spread Maple Coconut Topping evenly
over hot cake. Broil, watching carefully, 23 minutes or until
lightly browned. Cool on rack. Serve warm or at room temperature.
