Recipe - Mama Delarias Sauce

3 tablespoon Olive oil
1 Head garlic,; chopped
One half lg Vidalia onion,; chopped
One fourth pound Lean ground beef
Salt
Pepper
Fresh ground red pepper
4 lg 28 ounce cans tomato sauce
1 lg 28 ounce can crushed
tomatoes
One fourth cup Grated Romano cheese
One fourth cup Grated Parmesan cheese
In large saute pan heat olive oil. Add onions and saute until onions become
transparent. Add garlic. Add beef and season with salt, pepper, and red
pepper. Cook until beef begins to brown. Once brown, add sauce and crushed
tomatoes. Stir to combine. Bring to a simmer, reduce heat and let simmer
for about 4 6 hours. Before serving add Romano and Parmesan cheese.
