Recipe - Maine Sardine Canapes

3 cn Maine sardines; (3 Three fourths or 4
oz. each)
One half cup Butter or margarine;
softened
2 tablespoon Prepared mustard
10 sl Sandwich bread
Pimiento strips
Drain sardines and split in half lengthwise. Combine butter and mustard.
Spread bread with mustardbutter. Remove crusts. Cut each slice of bread
into thirds. Place a sardine half on each piece of bread. Garnish with
pimento strips. Yields: 30 canape's
