Recipe - Magic Puff Sandwiches (Chicken)

1 One fourth cup Bisquick baking mix
1 cn Mushroom stems & pieces
Three fourths cup Mayonnaise or Salad
Dressing
(4 oz. drained)
1 Egg
One fourth cup Onions cut or sliced up green
1 cup Cutup cooked chicken
One fourth teaspoon Salt
2 cup Cheddar chese shredded
Pepper dash of
(about 8 oz.)
6 sl Bread

Heat oven to 450F. Mix baking mix, mayonnaise and egg. Stir in other
ingredients, except bread. Spread ingredients evenly on bread. Bake on
ungreased cookie sheets until puffy and golden brown, about 10 minutes.
Serve immediately. 6openfaced sandwiches.

High altitude directions: (3500 to 6500); heat oven to 475F. Stir 2 tbs
allpurpose flour into baking mix. Bake. 10 to 12 minutes.
