Recipe - Macaroon Fudgies

4 ounce Unsweetened chocolate
squares
1 cup Margarine
2 cup Sugar
1 cup Flour
One fourth teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoon Vanilla
3 Eggs
2 One half cup Flaked coconut
2/3 cup Sweetened condensed milk
One half teaspoon Almond extract
1 cup Chocolate chips
One half cup Chopped walnuts
In a large saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate squares and margarine.
Remove. Add sugar, flour, salt, 1 tsp vanilla, and eggs. spread One half batter
into greased 9 x 13 pan. Mix coconut, condensed milk, 1 tsp vanilla, and
almond extract. Spoon over batter evenly. Spread remaining chocolate batter
evenly over filling. Bake at 350 for 3540 minutes. Immediately sprinkle
chocolate chips on top. Let stand 1 minute. Spread evenly over bars.
Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Cool Completely. Cut into bars.
