1 pound Beef, ground
1 Onion, chopped
1 cup Catsup
2 tablespoon Vinegar
2 tablespoon Sugar
2 tablespoon Mustard
2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Celery seed
Salt and pepper,
to taste
In a frying pan, brown ground beef and onion. Add remaining ingredients
and cook slowly for 15 minutes or more. Serve hot by scooping the mixture
onto toasted buns.
NOTES:
* A spicy and simple sloppy joe This recipe comes from my wife's mom,
who got it from her motherinlaw in western New York state. It's very easy
to make and tastes a lot better than any mix.
