Recipe - M-O-Ms Muffins

1 Egg beaten
4 tablespoon Shortening liquid
Three fourths cup Milk
Three fourths cup MaltoMeal(r)
1 One fourth cup Flour
One half cup Sugar
3 teaspoon Baking powder
Mix all ingredients just until moistened; DO NOT overmix. Fill muffin cups
Three fourths full. Bake in preheated 400degree oven for 20 minutes.
Variations: Add about 2 tablespoons of peanut butter, and/or chopped dried
apricots, chopped prunes, or dates. I also have added 12 tablespoons
wheat germ.
