Recipe - Lissas Honey Baked Onions

Categories: Casseroles, Lissas Honey Baked Onions
Ingredients:

8 md Onions; peeled
4 tablespoon Melted Butter
4 tablespoon Honey
2 tablespoon Tomato Sauce
One fourth cup Chicken Broth
One fourth teaspoon Paprika
Salt To Taste

Preheat oven to 350°. Cut onions in half crosswise and place, cut side down
in a 9 x 13 inch pan. Stir together remaining ingredients and pour over
onions. Cover pan with foil and bake 1 hour or until onions are tender.

My sister has made this for years. She was named for my Father's mother and
that is where she got the recipe. She shared it with us and we all love it.
PLEASE, use a sweet onion!

NOTES : Use Vadilia Onions if possible. These are sweet and mild and the
flavors mix wonderfully with the honey and chicken broth.
