Recipe - Linguini With Red Clam Sauce

1 pack (8oz) linguini
4 tablespoon Olive oil
4 tablespoon Butter
1 small Onion; chopped
1 cup Sliced fresh mushrooms
2 Cloves garlic; minced
1 cup Clam juice (drained from
clams)
1 cn (16oz) tomato sauce
One fourth teaspoon Oregano
2 cn (6.5oz) clams; drained
2 tablespoon Chopped fresh parsley

Cook linguini according to package directions. In a large heavy skillet,
heat oil and butter. Saute onion and mushrooms until just tender. Add
garlic, clam juice, tomato sauce and oregano. Simmer for 10 minutes. Add
clams and parsley just before serving. Spoon sauce over linguini. Serves
4.
