Ingredients:
Lemon Queen Cake - Part 2 Of 4 - Lemon Filling recipe makes 2 Servings
1 One half cup Sugar
1/3 cup Cornstarch
One half teaspoon Salt
2 One half cup Water
One half cup Lemon juice
9 Egg yolks; beaten
Combine first 3 ingredients in a heavy saucepan; gradually stir in water
and lemon juice. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly, 2
to 3 minutes. Stir about onefourth of hot mixture into egg yolks; stir
into remaining hot mixture. Cook, stirring constantly, 1 minute or until
mixture thickens and boils. Remove from heat; chill.
