Recipe - Lemon Nut Balls

One half cup Butter
1 Egg; separated
2 teaspoon Lemon juice
2 teaspoon Grated orange rind
One fourth cup Sugar
One half teaspoon Vanilla
1 cup Unsifted flour (stir well to
aerate before measuring)
One half cup Finely chopped walnuts
Cream butter and sugar; beat in egg yolk, orange rind, lemon juice and
vanilla. Gradually stir in flour; chill. Using One half tablespoon for each,
shape into small balls. Dip in slightly beaten egg whites and roll in nuts.
Place a few inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 until lightly
browned, for 1618 minutes.
