Recipe - Lemon Herb Butter

One fourth cup Butter; melted
One fourth cup Lemon juice
1 teaspoon Dried marjoram
One half teaspoon Salt
1 4 pound frying chicken; cut
in 8 pieces
1. Heat broiler. In 1 quart saucepan stir together all ingredients except
chicken.
2. Place chicken on greased broiler pan; brush chicken with butter mixture.
Broil 68 inches from heat, turning and basting with sauce every 10
minutes, until chicken is fork tender (3035 minutes),
3. Meanwhile, cook remaining sauce over medium heat, stirring occasionally,
until mixture comes to a full boil (2 to 3 minutes). Just before serving,
spoon sauce over chicken.
