Recipe - Lemon-Filled Cookies

Three fourths cup Softened butter
One half Sugar
1 Egg yolk; beaten
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 pn Salt
2 cup Flour
Grated nuts for top
Three fourths teaspoon Orange rind
3 tablespoon Softened butter
1 One half cup Confectioner's sugar
1 One half tablespoon Lemon juice
Combine first 6 ingredients. Form in 4 small rolls and chill. Slice thin.
Sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 400 about 7 minutes, until light brown. Combine
rind, butter, sugar and juice. Place small amount between 2 cookies. Press
together gently.
