Recipe - Lelas Butter Cake

CAKE
1 cup Margarine, (2 sticks, cubed)
2 cup Sugar
3 Eggs
2 cup Flour
3 Eggs
2 teaspoon Flavoring (lemon, rum,
almond, etc), (+more if
needed)
GLAZE
One half cup Sugar
1 Lemon, (juice only)
Ingredients for the cake are listed in the order used (the recipe uses 6
eggs). After each addition beat well. Put into greased, floured tube pan
and bake at 350 deg. F for 1One half hours.
Glaze: Mix One half cup sugar and juice of 1 lemon in pan and bring to a boil.
Spoon onto top of hot cake, and brush to spread with a pastry brush.
