Recipe - Lazy Fruit Cobbler

Ingredients:

2 (up to)
2 One half cup Sliced peaches; apples or
cherries
2 cup Sugar
1 Stick butter
Three fourths (up to)
1 cup Flour
2 teaspoon Baking powder
1 pn Salt
Three fourths cup Milk

Mix fruit with 1 cup sugar. Cook in saucepan until tender. Put butter in
8x11 dish and place in 350 oven to melt. Combine remaining sugar, flour,
baking powder, salt and milk. Pour over butter, but do not stir. Pour hot
fruit over batter. Bake at 350 for 4560 minutes or until crust is brown.
(Batter rises to top).
