Recipe - Lazy Daizy Cake

One half cup Butter
One half cup Shortening
1 One half cup Sugar
3 Eggs
1 teaspoon Soda
1 teaspoon Baking powder
2 teaspoon Nutmeg
2 cup Flour
1 cup Buttermilk
One fourth teaspoon Salt

Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg yolks. Add flour and other
ingredients. alternately with milk. Fold in last, beaten egg whites.
Bake in a loaf pan. While hot pour a can of Eagle brand milk on top.
Sprinkle with coconut and run under broiler to brown.
