Recipe - Layered Casserole

1 pound Ground turkey breast or
chicken breast
Three fourths cup Onion; chopped
One half Green pepper; chopped
1 cup 1% cottage cheese
1 cn (8oz) tomato sauce
3 tablespoon Lite sour cream
6 tablespoon Lite cream cheese
1 teaspoon Salt
One half cup Fat free cheese
3 cup Cooked pasta; drained
Black pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown meat and onion in large skillet sprayed
with nonstick cooking spray. Add tomato sauce and seasonings. Simmer 78
minutes. In large bowl combine green pepper, cottage cheese, cream cheese
and sour cream. Mix thoroughly.
Spray large casserole dish (9x13inch) with nonstick cooking spray. Cover
bottom with pasta. Add a layer of meat mixture. Pour cottage cheese mixture
for next layer and top with shredded fat free cheese.Bake uncovered at 350
degrees for 3040 minutes. Entire recipe makes 8 servings.
