Recipe - Lakas Meatballs

MEATBALLS
1 pound Ground beef
One half cup Peanuts; shelled, toasted
and ground
One half Envelope cream of onion soup
1 teaspoon Grated ginger root
One half Onion; chopped
1 pn Nutmeg
1 pn Cinnamon
Ground black pepper
1 Clove garlic; minced
Salt; to taste
Oil; for frying
SAUCE
1 cup Beef stock
1 tablespoon Cornstarch
Juice of 1 orange
1 teaspoon Grated fresh ginger
Salt and pepper; to taste
Meatballs: Mix all together.Check salt.Cook in oil.
Sauce:
Blend orange juice and starch. Stir into boiling stock along with ginger,
season with salt and pepper. Stir over heat until it thickens a little.
Serve over meat balls.
