Recipe - Kohls Peanut Brittle

2 cup Sugar
2 cup Karo (red label) syrup
One half cup Hot water
1 Lump of butter (about 1 tb)
One half pound Or more raw peanuts
rolled with a rolling pin
1 teaspoon Baking soda
Boil sugar, syrup, water, and butter until golden brown stirring often. Add
baking soda to the raw peanuts. Grease a cookie sheet. Pour peanuts into
the syrup. Remove from the fire AT ONCE. Pour on on the greased cookie
sheet, smoothing over into a thin layer.
When cooled, crack up into serving pieces. Taken From: IT NEVER TURNS OUT
