Recipe - Knegli (Plum Dumplings)

5 Eggs
One half pound Butter (no margarine!)
2 tablespoon Sugar
2 tablespoon Milk
One fourth teaspoon Salt
4 cup Flour (or more)
Sugar for sprinkling
Beat eggs. Add butter, sugar, salt, milk & flour. Mix well & knead dough.
Roll small amounts of dough (about walnut size) until paper thin. Fry in
deep fat until golden brown, drain on paper towel & sprinkle with sugar.
