Recipe - Kluski Z Makiem I

6 cup Water, boiling
1 teaspoon Salt
3 cup Egg noodles
2 tablespoon Butter, melted
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
12 ounce Poppy seed cake
and pastry filling
1 teaspoon Lemon juice
1 One half teaspoon Lemon peel, grated
1/3 cup Raisins
Combine boiling water and salt in a large saucepan. Add noodles and cook
until tender, then drain and cool. Toss noodles with butter in the
saucepan.
Combine poppyseed filling with vanilla extract, lemon juice and lemon peel
and raisins. Add to noodles and mix well. Cook just until heated through.
NOTES:
* RODZYNKAMI Noodles with Poppy Seed and Raisins This recipe could be
used as part of a 12course meal known in Polish as Wigilia, or on its own.
Wigilia is eaten after sundown on Christmas Eve. Yield: Serves 46.
